Zenith Print Group boosts capacity with new HEIDELBERG press

Zenith Print Group has invested in a new HEIDELBERG Speedmaster XL 106-5-P+L, expanding its existing fleet of Speedmaster XL 106 presses.

The investment, alongside recent upgrades to pre-press and post-press operations, is expected to increase production capacity by around 35%, enabling faster turnaround times, greater flexibility and enhanced print quality. Designed for both commercial and packaging applications, the new press combines five-colour printing, perfecting and coating with advanced automation to improve makereadies, job changeovers and overall production efficiency.

Zenith has also strengthened its pre-press department with two Heidelberg Suprasetter systems featuring Compact Pallet Loaders, while its finishing capabilities have been enhanced with a Heidelberg Stahlfolder TH82-P equipped with StackStar C robotics.

“Our customers expect us to react quickly and adapt to changing demands.” said Joseph Towler, Chief Executive, Zenith Print Group.”Whether in the context of a commercial print job or of packaging production, they rely on us for fast turnaround times and maximum flexibility. The new Speedmaster XL 106 gives us the agility to switch efficiently between these two business areas, helping us respond faster and better meet our customers’ needs.”

“We are delighted that Zenith has once again placed its trust in Heidelberg with the investment in a new Speedmaster XL 106-5-P+L,” said Ryan Miles, Managing Director, Heidelberg UK. “The new press has been designed to create a strong competitive advantage and will help Zenith create growth and efficiency for their customers while maintaining the highest quality standards. Backed by our world-class service department, this investment will support Zenith Print Group’s continued growth and reinforces the strength of our long-term partnership.”
