It has been reported in media outlets that WestRock is closing two facilities in Louisville, KY.
On September 19, the company announced to its employees that its shutting down operations in Louisville, anticipating that it will be ceasing production by the end of January 2024 at its locations on Brook Street and Allmond Avenue.
Louisville employees will be able to apply for open positions across the company, and severance packages will be provided.
