WestRock Brazil announced the signing of the Principles of Women’s Empowerment (WEPs), the UN Women’s and the UN’s Global Compact platform, with guidelines for gender equality in business, a milestone in their journey of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging.
“We therefore make a public commitment that we will work through programs and actions to promote gender equality in our work environment, value chain and in the communities with which we have relationships. Diversity and Gender Equality are important to our business and help us build a fairer world with sustainable development,” said a WestRock Brazil spokesperson, in a LinkedIn post.
