Werner Kenkel sets new world record

Werner Kenkel, the family owned company with three production plants in Poland, has recently set an EMBA world record for the largest number of boxes produced in one shift, on one converting line. The record was set in the first quarter of this year, at the facility in Krzycko Wielkie.

The challenge was to produce over 188,540 boxes during a shift. On the EMBA 245 Ultima line, an impressive result of 206,255 units was achieved, which gave an average result of 7.3 boxes per second over the course of the shift.

“The challenge was successful thanks to the use of the latest technology and the experienced and well-coordinated team of our operators,” said Marek Rydlichowski, Production Director at the Krzyck Wielki flexo print facility. “Everything took place with care for the highest quality of the product and the result was certified by the manufacturer of the converting line, EMBA Machinery AB.”
