Wepoba Wellpappenfabrik at the Panther Group’s Display and Packaging Park in Wustermark has installed another inline machine, creating the conditions needed to meet sustained growth in the demand for high-quality folding boxes.
In the context of the current investment programme with a volume of over €60m, the additional machine fulfils the ability to deliver in this segment. The latest inline machine is a BOBST 8.20 Expertline and has a 2m working width.
The fully automatic, user-friendly machine has state-of-the-art technical equipment. Among other things, this includes a diverter unit and the glue line controller; a pre-feeder, packing robot and camera control supplement the whole line’s automation equipment.
“This investment further extends the fulfilment of customers’ requirements for maximum quality,” says Carin Hilmer-Brenzinger, CEO, Panther Group. “The plant’s features include energy efficiency and resource conservation, which are proved over and over again in everyday operation, and satisfy the Panther Group’s self-imposed targets.”
