WBC acquires Transpack to strengthen packaging offering

Wine Box Company, a trading division of Premier Paper Group Limited, has acquired the wholesale packaging business Transpack Limited. The acquisition is complementary to WBC’s existing operations and further strengthens the Group’s range, expertise, and capacity across its growing packaging division.

“We are delighted to welcome Transpack into the Group and are excited to support them in the next phase of their development,” said Michael Beever, Group CEO, Premier Paper Group. “Transpack will be a valuable addition to the WBC business, which we acquired in 2022, and represents another important step in our strategy to expand our packaging offering across the Group. Premier, WBC, and Transpack share many of the same values, and this acquisition will create opportunities across the business through the sharing of knowledge and expertise.”

“The acquisition of Transpack will significantly enhance the product portfolio we offer and further strengthen the Group’s ability to deliver solution‑driven packaging to our customers. I believe the addition of Transpack, and the opportunities it creates, will enable the Group to deliver against our existing growth plans within the packaging division,” said Simon Wright, Managing Director, WBC.

“Becoming part of the WBC and Premier Paper Group family marks an exciting new chapter for Transpack,” said Craig Schweitzer, Managing Director, Transpack. “This evolution allows us to offer our customers access to an even wider range of products and services, market‑leading innovations, and enhanced value – all underpinned by the same first‑class customer service they have come to expect.”

Transpack’s offices and warehouse will remain in Southampton, alongside WBC’s existing offices in Herne Hill and warehouse facilities in Crawley.
