The Voith Group achieved significant gains in the first six months (October 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023) of the current fiscal year 2022/23 despite a market environment that continues to be challenging. Voith increased both its sales and EBIT in all Group Divisions. Orders received exceeded the already high figure from the previous year.
Group sales increased significantly (up 18%) to €2.75 bn (previous year €2.34 bn). At €2.95 bn, orders received were noticeably higher than in the previous year (€2.71 bn); the value of orders on hand on the reporting date of March 31, 2023 was €7.02 bn, beating the record-breaking high of the previous year (€6.80 bn). In the first half of the fiscal year, Voith increased its operating result (EBIT) to €123m (up 30%). The net income was €29m (previous year: €16m).
