Voith has received another order to build and supply a complete paper production line. The pulp and paper manufacturer Asia Symbol has commissioned Voith to supply BM13 board machine for its Rugao site, located 180 km north-west of Shanghai, China.
The state-of-the-art production line will achieve an annual production volume of up to 1,000,000 tons of high-quality coated folding boxboard in the basis weight range 170 – 400 gsm. The planned design speed is 1,400 m/min. Start-up of the new line is scheduled for mid-2023.
