Valmet has received a Supplier Excellence Award from Graphic Packaging International (GPI), recognising the companies’ longstanding collaboration in technology, sustainability and operational development.
The award was presented by Robbert Rietbroek, President and CEO, Graphic Packaging International, and Natasha Gurevich, Interim Chief Procurement Officer, Graphic Packaging International.
Valmet has worked with GPI for several decades, supplying technologies and services intended to improve resource efficiency, reduce emissions and support the company’s sustainability objectives.
Chris Bowden, Director of Sales, US South Region and Corporate Account Manager for GPI at Valmet, said the recognition reflected the collective efforts of Valmet’s teams in supporting the customer relationship.
The award highlights the ongoing cooperation between the two companies in developing and maintaining technologies used within the paper and packaging industry.
