Valco Melton has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Graco Inc. (NYSE: GGG), a leader in fluid and powder handling technologies, in an all-cash transaction. Valco Melton will become part of Graco’s Industrial division upon closing, with timing expected sometime in the third quarter.
With a 74-year history of supplying adhesive dispensing and inspection expertise across 87 countries and more than 650 employees, Valco Melton will continue to serve industrial and packaging markets with solutions that enhance product quality and manufacturing performance, while the acquisition by Graco is expected to build on complementary capabilities and support continued global growth.
In recognition of the leadership legacy that has shaped Valco Melton over decades, the contributions of Greg Amend and Rich Santefort, along with the foundation established by Buford Thomas, have helped build a strong organisation focused on customers, employees and long-term success.
