It has been reported that Tioga, Pa-based Tyoga Container Inc. has recently begun a significant expansion project, that will result in the expansion of their current operating capacity threefold. The overall project is expected to be in the region of $65-80m.
The corrugated and general packaging company says the expansion will allow for improved production flow and space for new converting equipment. It will also mean the company will be creating around 40 new jobs, to add to the 110 people it currently employs.
The first phase of the project includes renovation and conversion of the current 135,000 sq ft facility into a stand-alone manufacturing facility.
