Exactly six years after the rebuild of the Parenco PM2 paper machine in Renkum, Netherlands, Smurfit Kappa confirms the mill have reached a fantastic milestone – having now produced two million tons of recycled Testliner and Fluting.
The paper machine produces high quality containerboard papers at the designed speed of 1200 m/min and supported by production efficiencies that can be regarded world class. The Parenco mill was acquired by Smurfit Kappa in a €460m deal in July 2018.
