Each year, Smurfit Kappa presents internal awards to its most efficient plants in their global network. At the recent 2021 Global presentations, the company made an award to its folding carton facility in Tijuana.
“Congratulations to Juan Carlos Meave and all our employees at the Folding Carton Facility in Tijuana for obtaining the ‘Plant of the Year’ for Smurfit Kappa North America,” said Eduardo Rubio, CEO, Smurfit Kappa North America. “Our Folding Carton facility is one of the newest operations in our division and have proven to grow the business for the region, be a safe plant for our employees as well as develop a customer driven culture for the present and future success of Smurfit Kappa North America.”
