Every year, the Association Technique Française de Flexographie (ATF Flexo) presents awards — FlexoStars — to the best flexographic print work in France. In 2019, the jury honoured Bobst Group and its partner Graphilabel with a gold Star for their THQ FlexoCloud flexographic process. Five of the company’s customers also won awards in the competition.
In Toulouse on 12th December, the ATF presented the 2019 FlexoStars innovation award for the print work on ‘Lion Puzzle’, a complex graphic design visual reproduced on semi-coated EB doublewall corrugated board.
Five of the six awards for corrugated print work went to Bobst customers, including in the complex films, paper and aluminium categories — two gold and one bronze star. Customers were as follows:
– Non-coated corrugated board post-print: Gold Star – Saica Pack Beaune (1228 NTRS); Silver Star – International Paper Châlon-sur-Saone (FFG 924 NT RS), and Bronze Star – Smurfit Kappa Rethel (DRO 1628 NTRS).
– Coated corrugated board post-print: Silver Star – Saica Pack Montsûrs (Masterflex 203 Matic), and Bronze Star – DS Smith Packaging Kunheim (Masterflex).
