This year marks the 30th anniversary of the collaboration between Mühlen Sohn and BHS Corrugated Ltd.
Mühlen Sohn’s supply of high-quality corrugator belts combined with BHS UK’s professional service has resulted in a loyal customer base and a high market share in the UK and Ireland. During these 30 years there has been a number of innovative new products launched by Mühlen Sohn.
“Our latest product development is the adhesive-free SUPER WRAP LAG drum lagging, which saves our customers time and money,” explains Armin Birzele, Sales Director, Mühlen Sohn. “The drum lagging can be installed quickly and easily, saving customers installation costs. In addition, occupational safety during installation has been increased even further.”
The drum lagging consists of high-strength PES fabric with a silicone coating on the paper side and an innovative, self-adhesive layer on the drum side. This means that no hazardous substances such as adhesives are required for installation and the friction coefficient remains constant over the entire lifecycle.
In addition to the high-quality corrugator belts and drum laggings, customers can also rely on the after sales service. Paul Bratherton, Sales Engineer, BHS UK, explains, “After the installation of the belts and drum lagging on the corrugator, we continue our customer care with cleaning, re-lacing if necessary and regular condition checks which are followed up with comprehensive reports and advice.”
