Colin Clarke, Managing Director, Winfibre, has become the new President of The Recycling Association.
He replaces Celine Grant from Re-Gen who came to the end of her two-year term as President at The Recycling Association’s AGM & President’s Day at Oulton Hall near Leeds on 12 May 2026. Clarke has served as Vice President for two years and automatically became President at the event.
During the AGM, Jonathan Donohue from Suez was elected by the Membership as the New Vice President and will become President in two years’ time. Also at the AGM, Pankaj Chowdhary from Ekman and Craig Curtis from CS Recycling were re-elected to the governing Council of The Recycling Association. Sarah Sanpher-McDowell from Clearpoint, Agnieszka Pychowska from Panda and Dawn Tyrer from Newport were elected to the Council. They filled vacancies that had arisen since the last AGM as well as Kevin Bell who stepped down after more than 20 years service on the Council over two stints.
Clarke said, “It is an honour for me to become the President of The Recycling Association and I’m looking forward to taking on the role. Of course, I want to thank Celine Grant for the fantastic job she has done over the past two years, and Paul Sanderson who will be leaving us soon for pastures new. Both Celine and Paul have been superb servants for the recycling industry. I look forward to working with Paul’s successor, our new Vice President Jonathan and the new Council members Sarah, Agnieszka and Dawn on all the matters that are so vital to Members of The Recycling Association.”
