France-based Technicarton has confirmed it has recently completed the acquisition of Cartec, the French manufacturer of corrugated converting and peripheral equipment, based in Chasse-sur-Rhône.
“With this move, we continued the strong trajectory that reflects the ongoing evolution of a growing family business, which is strengthening and adapting without losing its DNA,” explains Thomas Poncet, Managing Director, Technicarton. “As a business, Technicarton is now enhancing its presence, expanding the scope of operations and confirming our ongoing commitment to long-term investment in tools, skills and production capacity.”
The strategic acquisition also helps ensure continuity of service for customers of Cartec. This is achieved by way of:
- Ongoing availability of spare parts;
- Mechanical, electronic and automation maintenance, provided by industry-specific mechanics and automation engineer.
Poncet concludes, “By joining a well-structured and high-performing group, Cartec’s customers now benefit from a significantly stronger industrial base, which affords increased production capacity and greater access to innovative technical solutions. We are excited by the opportunities ahead!”
