TCY Machinery has completed the installation and commissioning of a new NB5 Flexo Folder Gluer for a customer on the US East Coast.
The 1000 x 2500mm (39 x 98″) bottom-print machine is designed for automated, single-pass corrugated converting, combining printing, slotting, folding and gluing within one continuous production line.
TCY engineers worked alongside the customer’s team throughout installation, training and commissioning to integrate the system and prepare it for full production.
The machine has now been operating for several months and is producing a range of corrugated box styles and volumes, with the installation designed to increase throughput and reduce manual handling.
