TCY has confirmed it has installed another 1200mm (50”) FFG in Schumacher Packaging in Germany, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of corrugated packaging solutions.
Back in 2010, Schumacher Packaging installed a two-colour TCY 1200 x 2500mm (50 x 98”) bottom print inline FFG at their Ebersdorf facility which has proven extremely productive with more than 290 million boxes run through that machine to date.
Following the success of that machine, Schumacher selected a new NB6 series 1200 x 3000mm (50 x 118”) full inline casemaker for their newly expanded flagship mega-plant in Greven, Germany.
“This is one of the world’s largest production sites, with an annual corrugated production capacity of 600m sqm and with the new TCY line, Schumacher will have increased functionality, greater production feedback and faster set-ups coupled with the robust and durable construction that TCY machines are renowned for,” says Ken Hsiao, General Manager, TCY.
