Skandacor has confirmed the first North American installation of the FINISHpro 3D 1623 at Supreme Graphics in Arcadia, WI. Supreme Graphics is the first to bring the innovative raised UV printer into production, signaling a major step forward in its finishing capabilities and value-added print offerings.
The installation follows the 1623’s debut at PRINTING United Expo 2025, where the machine generated nonstop booth traffic, multiple on-site sales, and excitement for being the first inkjet embellishment press priced under $65,000.
Chris Blaschko, CEO, Supreme Graphics, explained, “Without a doubt, the biggest factor was the cost. We wanted to expand our embellishment offering. We have been looking at other raised UV capable devices over the years and found the cost of entry to be prohibitive, so we continued to outsource that part of our business. Now we can bring it in-house at a reasonable price from a reputable vendor whom we already have a positive relationship with.”
Designed for sheets up to 16×23″, the FINISHpro 3D 1623 produces raised textures, and dimensional spot UV using an intuitive, compact, and cost-efficient platform. For shops like Supreme Graphics, the ability to add premium, high-margin embellishment work without disrupting existing workflows represents a major competitive advantage.
“We’re thrilled to see Supreme Graphics lead the charge,” said Brad Drever, CEO, Skandacor. “Their team immediately recognized how the 1623 helps level the playing field – allowing smaller and mid-sized shops to offer the type of premium finishing that wins bigger jobs and builds stronger customer loyalty.”
The 1623 also integrates seamlessly with Skandacor’s broader finishing ecosystem, pairing with LAMpro laminators and specialty finishers to add textured laminates and digital foil effects. This creates a complete, modular embellishment workflow at an accessible investment level.
Supreme Graphics expects the new embellishment capabilities to strengthen its offerings across commercial print, direct mail, packaging, and specialty products.
“We were already doing a lot of soft-touch laminate and spot foiling,” added Blaschko. “Now we can add spot raised UV to our in-house embellishment mix.”
