GEC BV are now offering a new system for Bobst SPO 1600 A/A Matic, SPO 2000 and SPO 203 A/A Matic flat bed die-cutters, as well as for the same model flexo machines.
The ‘Supporting Roller’ consists of a small carriage (movable horizontally), placed between the lateral feeder guides and the roller. The ‘Supporting Roller’ is adjustable in height and can be adjusted by means of a hand wheel, this to suit the type of board.
The company says the unit allows users to run thin or extremely flexible board, as well as generally poorly supported sheets by the suction plate.
