Straub-Verpackungen has officially opened its new Plant 3 in Bräunlingen, Germany, following an extensive planning and construction programme. The €45m investment expands its production capacity across 19,000 sqm, relieving pressure on existing operations and providing space for future growth.

The opening brought together companies involved in the construction, representatives from politics and local administration, Straub’s management team, shareholders and their families. Following introductory addresses and a blessing by parish priest Martin Schäuble, guests toured the facility to see its machinery, systems and production processes.
The development follows several investments across Straub’s Bräunlingen operations, including the expansion of Plant I in 2022 and the opening of a logistics centre in 2020. The logistics facility incorporated two high-bay warehouses, dispatch space and offices, with combined storage capacity for 28,000 pallets. Straub also established Plant IV in 2018 as a dedicated digital printing and converting operation.
The official opening of Plant 3 represents the next stage in that development. Straub described the facility as a foundation for the company’s future and a commitment to Bräunlingen, while thanking the businesses and people involved in delivering the project.
