Stora Enso has confirmed the appointment of two leaders to the Group Leadership Team. Markku Luoto as EVP and Head of Food Service and Liquid Board and Andreas Birmoser as EVP and Head of Cartonboard.
“To reflect the growing importance of renewable packaging for Stora Enso, we are restructuring our packaging business from two into four business areas: Food Service and Liquid Board, Cartonboard, Containerboard, and Packaging Solutions. Together with Biomaterials, Wood Products and Forest, these will form our seven business areas,” said the company. “With these changes we strengthen our position as a leader in renewable packaging and are well-placed to deliver greater value to our customers and stakeholders.”
