The UK Sheet Plant Association is seeking to appoint a General Manager to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth and Industry influence.
The SPA plays a central role in supporting the Sheet Plant sector of the corrugated industry across the UK and Ireland, delivering a wide range of member initiatives, industry engagement activities, events, training programmes and support services. This appointment represents an opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a well-established and highly respected Trade Association.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of event delivery, professional support and member engagement that the SPA is known for. The role requires a clear understanding of the Association’s objectives and strategic direction, alongside the ability to support and coordinate the activities of the SPA Committee.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring each Committee Member has a defined portfolio of responsibility, coordinating activity across the Committee, contributing to venue selection, authorising operational expenditure, and providing creative input into the future direction and delivery of SPA initiatives.
The SPA is seeking a senior individual with strong Industry knowledge and connections, commercial awareness, and the ability to build and strengthen relationships across the sector. Experience within fibre-based packaging manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
