The UK Sheet Plant Association has recently confirmed that Callum Williams, senior economics writer at The Economist, has been invited by SPA Committee to be the keynote speaker at their next conference on 26th April.
Williams will give the conference some insight into how the UK economy has fared during the COVID-19 pandemic and what the roadmap to recovery looks like – which sectors will struggle, those that are buoyant, what the balance of trade might look like, unemployment, inflation, interest rates and more.
