Solid First Half Year for Absolute

Antony Whiteside, Managing Director, Absolute, has confirmed the company has posted a solid performance in the first half of 2022.

He says, “We started the year with a clear focus to continue our five year growth plan of doubling the business turnover through organic growth by December 2024. This gave us a target growth of 9% in 2022, and after a solid first half year, we have beaten this target.”

He continues, “InkSave has been a great success already this year, with sales particularly strong in the Americas. In Europe, business growth has been primarily Chambers and this region now represents 39% of our turnover. We have experienced a big surge in interest for SONO, as customers realise its ability to guarantee colour consistency without maintenance crews or anilox removal, which for many companies is a real game changer.”

He concludes, “Our business in the UK is up 32%, with strong activity for Chamber and InkSave sales. In addition, we have obtained planning consent for the construction of a new building on our existing site, which will be used for composite processing, in addition to a whole new electrical and electronics department, giving us capacity to increase SONO and InkSave build capacity. With all this activity, we continue to grow our team of people and are actively looking to recruit a new European Sales Manager to work alongside our agency network throughout the region.”
