The UK Sheet Plant Association has confirmed the appointment of Simon Mander of Emmepi Group Avanti, to its Committee. He will support the Committee with a particular focus on Membership and Member Engagement.
Mander (pictured left) brings extensive experience from the corrugated and fibre-based packaging sector, with a strong background in working closely with sheet plants, converters, and wider supply-chain partners. Through his position at Emmepi Group Avanti, he has developed a deep understanding of the operational, commercial, and strategic challenges facing corrugated manufacturers, as well as the evolving needs of suppliers serving the industry.
Known for his collaborative approach and strong industry relationships, Mander will contribute valuable insight into how the SPA can continue to strengthen its member offering, improve engagement across the membership, and ensure the Association remains relevant, accessible, and commercially valuable to companies of all sizes. His appointment reflects the SPA’s ongoing commitment to representing the full breadth of the corrugated industry, bringing practical experience, fresh perspectives, and supplier insight into Committee discussions.
