Sheard Packaging has confirmed the launch of its Interactive Sustainability Report FY 2024-2025 and it has achieved its Science Based Targets 6 years early. Alongside this, the company has also:
• Transitioned to 100% renewable electricity
• Maintained 89% recycled board content
• Improved our EcoVadis rating from Bronze to Silver (now Gold)
• Strengthened Scope 3 reporting in line with the GHG (Greenhouse Gas) Protocol
“Achieving our SBTi-approved near-term target means we’ve reduced Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 72% ahead of schedule,” said Lee Shackleton, Managing Director. “For us, sustainability isn’t just a report, it’s a responsibility we take seriously. Over the past year, we’ve partnered closely with customers to help them reduce material usage, improve pallet efficiency, and better understand the carbon impact of their packaging. We’re proud of the progress so far, and even more excited about what comes next as we continue to collaborate and play our part in building a more sustainable future together.”
