Ken Shackleton, Vice Chair of The UK Sheet Plant Association, has retired from his position as Managing Director at The Cardboard Box Company Ltd – after 30+ years of tireless service. The recent 107th Conference marked his final event as Vice Chairman.
Shackleton has been a stalwart of the SPA and a valuable sounding board for Tim Gray, Chairman, for the last 13 years. Gray said, “Ken has been my right-hand man throughout my Chairmanship, and he will be a tough act to follow. Ken’s contributions to the SPA have been invaluable, and he has helped fashion the SPA into the well-regarded and professionally run Trade Association it is today. We wish Ken all the best for his future adventures and endeavours, and he will be missed at Conferences, Committee Meetings, and the numerous Industry Focus Groups and Associations that he attended.”
