One of Italy’s leading privately owned corrugated packaging producers, Sandra S.p.a., has recently taken delivery of a new flexo printing machine from Celmacch. Sandra has been active in the industry for over 60 years, now employing around 500 people, working from two production sites: San Polo di Torrile and Casale di Mezzani.
Sandra needed to invest in an off-line flexographic printing machine that could consistently run at high speeds. Accordingly, Sandra have added a Chroma High Tech printer, complete with stacker. The machine is equipped with a high-precision belt feeder, HBL printing system, carbon chambered doctor blade system, vacuum transfer, sheet ejector and high pile stacker. The machine, which can be set while running, was delivered in May and entered production in June. The new machine reaches a maximum speed of 10,000 sheets per hour, ensuring maximum printing quality and high productivity.
