Saica Pack Ireland recently welcomed back customers onto its sites for the first time since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, hosting two events across three days.
The customer events took place in late October between the iconic Grand Hotel Dublin in the heart of Malahide, and Saica Pack Ashbourne, with the aim of demonstrating Saica’s commitment to customer experience, innovation and sustainability at the heart of its production processes.
Over 90 customers were given insightful and interactive training on the paper-making process and the manufacturing of corrugated board and packaging. Customers were also shown Saica’s latest cutting-edge digital tools including the B2B App and End-to-End Cost of Ownership tool, which provides detailed analysis of each cost incurred during production, and how they affect different elements of the value chain.
Customers enjoyed a tour of Saica Pack’s Ashbourne site to gain a greater understanding of the production processes behind its sustainable packaging solutions.
Steven Cassidy, Regional Sales Director Ireland, Saica Pack, commented, “Close collaborative relationships are extremely important to us, so events like this that give our customers an in-depth understanding of our production processes – as well as an excellent opportunity to network – are invaluable. I hope the customers in attendance now have a much clearer understanding of how we operate, and how important key elements like innovation and sustainability are to our processes.”
