Saica Group has strengthened its corrugated packaging operations in Ireland with the commissioning of a new fully automated BOBST rotary die-cutter at its Ashbourne facility.
The machine is the third fully automated rotary die-cutter installed at the site and is designed to support high-speed production of corrugated packaging. The investment will increase output at Ashbourne and provide additional capacity as Saica responds to changing customer requirements and increased use of automated packing lines.

The new machine is scheduled to begin production shortly and forms part of Saica’s wider strategic investment programme in Ireland. The company said the latest installation will support its long-term plans for growth in the Irish corrugated packaging market.
