Hamburger Recycling recently had the honour of being visited by Her Royal Highness Princess Sofia of Romania, as part of her visit to Faculty of Science and Environmental Engineering in Cluj, who Hamburger Recycling is a partner of.
Her Royal Highness is known for her involvement in projects dedicated to culture, photography, and also her ongoing commitment to environmental protection and sustainability in the field of waste management. Passionate about nature and ecological education, Princess Sofia has been actively supporting initiatives that promote sustainability and responsible waste management across the country.
During her visit, she explored Hamburger Recycling’s facilities and learned about their work in waste collection, sorting, and recycling. She showed genuine interest in the modern technologies and circular economy practices being applied daily in the mission to reduce environmental impact.
