With Alpha, Robatech is expanding its new-generation adhesive melter range that ensures customers are well-prepared for the future.
The powerful all-rounder melts up to 12.5 kg/h of thermoplastic adhesives in the smallest of spaces. Equipped with the Robatech Control System (RCS), Alpha offers smart operation and numerous interfaces to simplify system integration, control, and monitoring of adhesive application.
“Our goal was to develop a new-generation adhesive melter that combines new features with those tried-and-tested,” explains Marcel Wey, Mechanical Engineer, Robatech. “With our modern RCS control platform, Alpha is keeping pace with the digital transformation. This is an important step to ensuring that our customers remain competitive in industrial adhesive applications.”
According to the manufacturer, Alpha offers system availability of more than 99%. “The high energy efficiency and use of robust components have a positive effect on operating costs,” says André Laubacher, Product Manager Small Units, Robatech. Thanks to its relatively small dimensions and the 45-degree connection area for heated hoses, Alpha permits space-saving installation in machines. The adhesive melter is versatile, particularly when it comes to applications in the packaging, converting and graphics industries. Compatibility with heated hoses and application heads built as far back as 2000 makes it easy to modernise existing systems. The optional filling system increases safety in production and relieves operating personnel.
