Quebec government invest $12m in Domtar mill project

The Quebec government announced it has invested C$12m toward Domtar‘s more-than $56m project to modernize its integrated pulp and paper mill in Windsor, Quebec.

The project, which started in 2024 and will be completed in 2025, includes modernizing two paper machines and the palletizing center.

“With the contribution of the Quebec government, our team has been able to lead a project that has had a significant impact on the quality of our paper and the reliability of our equipment,” says Steve Henry, President of the paper and packaging business unit and member of Domtar’s management board.
