Progroup has confirmed the appointment of Dr Harald Schwager as Chairman of its Supervisory Board, alongside several changes to the board’s membership.
Schwager (pictured left) brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in international industry, with a background in strategic corporate development and industrial transformation.
Prof Dr Julia Arlinghaus and Thomas Kölbl have also joined the Supervisory Board. Arlinghaus brings expertise in production, automation, digitalisation and artificial intelligence, while Kölbl has experience in financial management, controlling and capital markets.
Christian Buchel will remain on the Supervisory Board and assume the position of Deputy Chairman.
The appointments coincide with the departures of Rainer Dietmann, Prof Dr Rudi Wimmer and Progroup founder Jürgen Heindl from the Supervisory Board. Heindl established Progroup more than three decades ago, overseeing its development into a European manufacturer of corrugated sheetboard and containerboard.
The company thanked the departing board members for their contributions and said the new appointments would support its continued strategic development.
