Printpark of Turkey invests in latest Speedmaster XL

Printpark Premium Folding Carton is a Turkish family business with around 100 employees that has been operating in Istanbul for 48 years. It is currently run by second generation owners Ferit Dansık and Turan Dansık. Printpark exports its offset printing products to more than 25 countries and is one of the well-known major companies in the Turkish packaging industry and also a winner of several international packaging awards.

Its products, whose production and R&D activities are carried out entirely within the company, include high-quality cartonboard packaging for the cosmetics, food, chocolate, beverage and textile industries.

Now Printpark is looking to maximise productivity at their print shop with the latest generation of a Speedmaster XL 106-7+LX-UV from Heidelberg, which was commissioned in May 2022. The press is equipped with Push to Stop technology for autonomous printing and also features the new Prinect Inpress Control 3 inline color measurement system. The press is also fully integrated into the print shop’s overall workflow via Prinect Production Manager.

Ferit Dansık, Managing Director, Printpark, comments, “When we upgraded our production line, the most important criteria were highly productive output and extensive automation. Analysis in the run-up then showed that the Speedmaster XL technology was most likely to meet our requirements. In addition the competent and experienced technical service staff of Heidelberg Turkey was also a decisive factor in our investment decision.”

Turan Dansık, Plant Manager, Printpark, adds, “We are satisfied with the experience and results we have had so far. The new Speedmaster XL 106 has fitted very well into our production processes with the support of Prinect, and the assistance systems for autonomous printing and the new color measurement system have helped us achieve a significant leap in productivity, especially with the many job changes.”
