The groundbreaking for the large-scale plant took place in December 2021 and is scheduled for completion in 2023. The construction comprises two plants with a total area of 107,000 sqm; 60,000 sqm is for a paper mill and 47,000 sqm adjacent for a corrugated box factory.
Anthony Pratt, Executive Chairman of Pratt Industries said that the Kentucky mill represents the “single biggest investment our company has ever made,” noting the facility will be “the world’s most advanced, environmentally friendly 100% recycled paper mill.”
