Peter Oswald, CEO of the MM Group (Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG), has been named the European paper industry’s CEO of the Year 2022 by industry data provider Fastmarkets RISI.
Under his leadership, MM has recently significantly strengthened its product offering in virgin fiber-based cartonboard through transformative acquisitions, while taking an attractive position in kraft papers and uncoated fine papers. Oswald has been CEO of the MM Group since 2020.
