Panhuijsen adds two new machines from Kolbus Autobox

The family business Panhuijsen, based on the De Loven Industrial Estate in Tilburg, has been producing packaging and packaging materials since 1903. Production of corrugated boxes has now been expanded at its subsidiary company, Boxsupply, where they have installed a Kolbus Autobox AB300 Boxmaker and a MultiNova MN400 folder gluer.

The AB300 produces corrugated boxes up to 2600mm x 8000 mm in size and in a variety of FEFCO styles.  Fully automatic input of large format corrugated sheets and a scissor lift mean that the machine can be run by a single operator. The short set-up time makes the machine suitable for short to medium run production.  Disconnecting the machine from the Auto feed means that boxes as small as 100mm x 330 mm can be processed.

The MultiNova MN400 box gluer also features short set-up time.  It is ideal for the manufacture of straightline or crashlock corrugated boxes and trays, in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

Installing the new machines has taken Boxsupply a step forward in providing customers with boxes better matched in relation to size/content. Reducing the amount of filling material required also reduces transport costs incurred due to oversized packaging.
