Pamarco Europe adds CNC cylinder manufacturing, following asset purchase

Pamarco Europe has made a strategic investment by way of an asset purchase of CNC cylinder manufacturing machinery in an existing 10,000 sq ft facility in Bootle, Liverpool, located just 20 miles away from Pamarco’s anilox manufacturing operation based in Warrington.

The Bootle site near Liverpool, UK.

“The Bootle facility boasts over a dozen CNC turning centre, milling, slotting and balancing machines coupled with a workforce having decades of industry experience and knowledge in the manufacture of CNC produced precision parts,” says Steven Mortimer, managing Director, Pamarco Europe. “This investment has been made to address the instability of the supply chain due to Brexit, COVID and the recent war in the Ukraine, which has resulted in unpredictable and expensive lead times; as well as, disrupting manufacturing and logistics procedures. By bringing base manufacture ‘in house’, we can have a greater control over quality, delivery time and overall costs associated with the supply and manufacture of solid cylinder bases, as well as expanding the potential for further precision part solutions to its customer base.”corrugated #

He concludes, “The new addition to the Pamarco Europe arsenal has more than enough capacity, skill, knowledge, and expertise to accommodate the requirements of both anilox base manufacture, as well as precision-made piece parts for the entire print industry and beyond. This significant investment is a positive and progressive step forward in Pamarco Europe’s manufacturing wheelhouse, enabling us to better serve customers by controlling costs and guaranteeing quality.”
