Having started in business more than a century ago, Open Imballaggi is truly a historic enterprise in the Italian packaging industry. Over the decades, the company has grown significantly through expansion and continuous investment and today, with a facility covering an area of 44,000 sqm, Open Imballaggi is a leading player within its regional market.
Size is not everything for Open Imballaggi. The company’s focus on innovation and customer satisfaction is reflected in its most recent facility in Calcinate, which was designed with the highest levels of efficiency across logistics, operations and processes. In line with their innovative culture, Open Imballaggi has recently invested in a Celmacch four-colour Chroma High Tech 1700. The flexo printer has been positioned in line with a Bobst Expertcut 1.6 die-cutter, which was supplied by the Swiss manufacturer.
“This is just one of the first installations that will keep Celmacch very busy this year,” says Luca Celotti, General Manager, Celmacch. “Several other machines – both rotary die-cutters and flexo printers with various levels of customisation – are currently in the making and will soon be delivered to customers across different territories.”
