In August 2018, the Nine Dragon Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary in the USA entered into an agreement with Montreal-based Resolute Product Inc in relation to the acquisition of Resolute’s recycled pulp manufacturing project in Fairmont, West Virginia. The project has a production capacity between 220,000 and 250,000 tpa and is one of the three pulp mills in the world that produce air-dried recycled pulp. Upon the completion of the acquisition and new projects, the Group’s total design production capacity is expected to reach approximately 18 million tpa.
