Nicholas Hamilton to keynote at 113th SPA Conference at Silverstone

The Sheet Plant Association (SPA) has confirmed that Nicolas Hamilton, professional racing driver and brother of Lewis Hamilton, will be presenting at the SPA 113th Conference at Silverstone Circuit on Monday 2nd February 2026.

Born with cerebral palsy, Nicolas was initially a wheelchair user and was told he would never walk. Through years of relentless training and determination, he not only learned to walk unaided but also pursued his dream of becoming a professional racing driver. Today, Nicolas has established himself as a rising star in the racing world, inspiring audiences with his story of perseverance, resilience, and the power of mindset.

At Conference, Nicolas will deliver a keynote tailored to SPA members, sharing lessons in:

  • Breaking Down Barriers: overcoming obstacles and building resilience in both personal and professional life.
  • Goal Setting: setting realistic goals and the long-term value of perseverance.
  • Overcoming Adversity: learning from failure and using it to grow.
  • Creating Relationships: maximising opportunities through positive and productive relationships.
  • Mindset & Wellbeing: harnessing mental strength to realise full potential.

Delivered in his genuine and engaging style, Nicolas’ keynote will inspire SPA members to reflect on leadership, teamwork, and personal growth, offering practical takeaways for both individuals and organisations.

The 113th Conference at Silverstone is the only SPA Conference in 2026 and promises a packed agenda of networking, insight, and innovation.  Members will also have the chance to connect with college students who are finalists in the SPA “Think Inside The Box” design competition – the future talent who could join our industry in engineering, design, marketing, and more.
