Rob Burgin, (pictured left) formerly General Manager, DS Smith Northfields, has been appointed as the new Managing Director at Corrboard, the independent sheet feeding specialist based in Scunthorpe.
Taking on the responsibility for the running of the business, Burgin will support the wider team to provide quality and service to customers, while also delivering profitable and sustainable returns to shareholders. Furthermore, he will set the tone for the future strategy of the business by implementing a phased change management programme to ensure that the company can meet with its longer-term objectives.
Burgin is the first of a series of senior hires that are planned at the business, with further appointments to strengthen the Senior Management Team to be announced over the coming months.
