New HSHE consultancy business launched

With 30 years’ experience in the food and pharmaceutical industries, former LINPAC Packaging and Klöckner Pentaplast health and safety expert, Mark Reynolds, has launched a specialist consultancy to support companies in raising standards and reducing costs through improved risk management and compliance.

Mark Reynolds Risk Management Ltd (‘MRRM’) offers a wide range of services to businesses operating globally relating to health, safety, hygiene and environmental (HSHE) performance. These include strategy development, risk analysis and assessments, training programmes, supplier audits, global compliance, insurance and broker reviews.

“Health and safety can be a minefield for businesses,” said Reynolds. “While creating a strong safety culture is often a key priority for many companies, implementing successful processes and strategies can be complex and time-consuming. With a clear focus on continuous improvement, having the right tools and expertise is crucial to ensure businesses are working smarter, not harder, when it comes to health and safety.

“Good practice in health and safety makes sound business sense; not only does it make for a happier and healthier workforce, minimising staff turnover, it reduces absences and sick leave and can boost an organisation’s reputation and productivity. At the same time, by protecting employees, businesses can benefit from significant reductions in insurance premiums and legal costs.”

Reynolds concluded, “My key objectives were to create a consultancy that is built on proven skills  and experience and which will bring tangible results for companies. Regardless of size, industry or current health and safety strategy, MRRM can offer a unique set of services to deliver excellent return on investment and superior health and safety performance.”
