Mondi improves scores again

Mondi improved its scores across all categories in the Environmental Paper Company Index (EPCI) 2017, a WWF tool to promote transparency and continual improvement in the paper and packaging sector.

Leading companies from the global industry report voluntarily on indicators which WWF considers important for a company´s ecological footprint. Mondi has participated in the Index since its inception in 2010 and has demonstrated continuous environmental improvement over time. “We’re grateful for this valuable tool, which not only helps us benchmark our sustainability performance over time, but also inspires us each year to improve,” said John Lindahl, Mondi Group Technical and Sustainability Director. “I am pleased that Mondi has managed to improve steadily across all of our relevant categories. It’s a testament to our ongoing commitment to transparency, and confirms that the hard work is paying off as we walk our sustainability journey.”
