Mayr-Melnhof Board & Paper has confirmed that it intends to increase prices by €75 per tonne. The increase will be implemented from October and will apply to GD and coated liner grades.
The company explained that the decision was a response to the ongoing rise in costs and persistent pressure on margins, going on to say that the costs of energy, logistics and chemicals remain significantly above historical levels and have been volatile since March.
