MINDA has broken ground on the first phase of a $4.5m (€3.8m) expansion of its production facilities in Granite Falls, NC.

The investment will expand the capabilities of MINDA North America and forms part of the company’s continued development in the North American market.
A groundbreaking ceremony was attended by representatives from MINDA, the Town of Granite Falls, Caldwell County and the Caldwell Chamber, alongside project partners Neill Grading and Construction and Lackey Grading.
Robert Falch and Charles Martin of MINDA marked the start of construction, with the company describing the expansion as an important step in maintaining the momentum of its North American operations.
