Midwest Paper Group Holdings Inc has been sold to McKinley Paper Co, a subsidiary of the Mexico-based Bio Pappel SA de CV. This is another move by Bio Pappel to expand its presence in the U.S. market.
Midwest Paper Group is a privately held manufacturer and distributor of high quality recycled containerboard and natural kraft packaging grades, established in 1889. The corporate headquarters and mill are located in Combined Locks, Wisconsin, with an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons on three paper machines. The company employs about 320 workers.
